Women 2 Women
Women have always been vital agents in Arab society, and today they are emerging as important public players in government, business and investment in the Arab region.
With greater work opportunities and increased public roles for women in the Arab region, there is a marked increase in the need for more variegated products and services.
Almanar Consultancy recognizes the
particular needs and interests of women in international trade and
cultural exchange and works collaboratively in Australia and in the
Arab region to improve the experience and opportunities for women in
business.
We facilitate introductions into the Arab region for Australian women in business and other professions, and provide advice to Arab women who seek a particular product, service, or investment in Australia.
Special Visits to Arab Countries
In 2006, Dr Fiona Hill created the concept
of the Australian Professional Women Delegation to the Arab region and
led the first delegations to Syria (April 2006) and the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia (February 2007). These hugely successful visits were
considered historic in Australia-Syria and Australia-Saudi relations.
In 2008, Fiona is invited to lead a delegation of Australian business
and professional women to Kuwait to promote and extend trade and
cultural exchange.
