Endeavour Executive Award 2008/2009
Dr Fiona Hill gained an Australian Government an
Endeavour Executive Award to spend 3 months with the Jeddah Chamber of
Commerce & Industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Endeavour is
a prestigious scholarship programme showcasing the excellence of

Euphrates Publishing
Almanar Consultancy has established Euphrates Publishing to promote dissemination of a greater variety of resources about the Arab World and Islamic Sciences.
Euphrates Publishing launched its first title with Sojourn in Syria (ISBN 978-0-646-49777-8), an illustrated volume of essays about Syria that directs all proceeds to the NGO Syria Trust for Development.
Special Visits to Arab Countries
In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Dr Fiona Hill led Australian women's delegations Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. She is planning further women's delegations and specialised visits in the coming year. Further information is available upon application.
